Kulkoni Precision Metals offers a wide range of cast products produced by ISO, QS and TS 16949 registered foundries from around the globe. Before your requirements are sent to the foundry, our in-house metallurgists and engineers conduct a full review ensuring that all the needed specifications and information is included. A foundry is then selected and the sanitized inquiry (your company’s name does not appear on any paperwork) is sent. These world class manufacturers have the ability to produce castings in accordance with ASTM specifications. With leading foundry technology, we can even help you lower part costs by offering net or near net shape casting (which reduce weight and machining) whenever possible. In the production of Carbon and Alloy Steel Castings, the foundries use green and resin coated sand in their molding process and incorporate squeezer machines and cope & drag. This process yields castings of superior quality, dimensional stability and appearance.

Sand Molds are also utilized for the production of Gray Iron, Malleable Iron, and Ductile Iron. In addition to a variety of grades, Kulkoni offers special tensile and yields in all these products. The Investment Castings (lost wax or lost foam) process is utilized when alloys or special chemistries are required. The casting dimensions are very accurate and the as cast surface is very smooth. In this labor and material intensive process, Kulkoni Precision Metals can provide you with a far more cost effective Investment Cast product than is available domestically, due in part to much lower mold (die) costs.

All cast products can be supplied with or without heat treatment.
